These include individual psychotherapy, supportive groups, and consultation with businesses and non-profits. I look forward to working with you to explore your needs and to collaborate on affirming and empowering solutions.
John Quinn, LCSW
Since 2010 I have been working in the fields of youth development, adventure based counseling, and group work in a variety of settings across Maine and New England and have been providing psychotherapy as a licensed social worker since 2019. My practice is affirming, person centered, and trauma informed. I have lived in Orono as a student, a coach, and a parent and look forward to centering my practice in this community.
Myla Ferland, BSW
Myla is currently attending the University of Maine at Orono to receive her MSW and is a clinical intern at Stillwater Counseling. Myla believes in employing a strengths-based and person-centered approach to counseling. Her strengths in her practice are in working with adolescents, LGBTQIA individuals, survivors of sexual/intimate partner violence, trauma/PTSD, anxiety disorders, emotional dysregulation, and identity work. In her free time, she can be found reading a good book, or hiking outside, and enjoys integrating her passion for the outdoors into her work at Stillwater Counseling whenever possible.
